The new school cover is out from Vanity Fair. All the girls are so talented and lovely, but the problem is it IS missing a little bit of color (in Bob Ross voice). This years group includes Carey Mulligan, Kristen Stewart, Abbie Cornish, Mia Wasikowska, Amanda Seyfried, Rebecca Hall, Emma Stone, Evan Rachel Wood, and Anna Kendrick.
What the behind the scenes video here:
There is no doubt that these young women are talented, but they are missing some pitol minority power players. This year Precious is the IT movie and where is Gabourey Sidibe the IT girl? Jennifer Hudson is an Oscar winner, working on her new album, has survived a horrific year of losing her mother and nephew, and has a new son- struggle to success is the New School. Melonie Diaz is a indie queen, but gave solid performances in Guide to Recognizing your Saints and Assassination of a High School President. Notable missing ladies Jenna Dewan, Lea Michele, Ashely Greene,Emma Roberts, and Blake Lively. Vanity Fair is not a trade paper like the Hollywood Reporter and I should reflect a high interest than the imdb star meter! With all the talented you actress out there, have no minorities presence on its "New School" cover is a shame.
